Hi! Thank you so much for your interest in Trading Spaces!!

Here’s what we need you to do:

*Fill out the Application (WAY below) with your neighbors and ALSO do the following:
1) Take 1 picture of Team 1.
2) Take 1 picture of Team 2.
3) Take 2 pictures of 3 rooms to be transformed for each home.
4) Take 1 wide shot of the outside of Team 1’s house.
5) Take 1 wide shot of the outside of Team 2’s house.
6) Take 1 picture of the concrete area to set up carpentry world with the
trailer and tent (50 feet long and 10 feet wide).

It is important that you label the pictures as follows and follow this same labeling structure for Team 2 photos:
* T1 (picture of the first team)
* T1 1st Room (2 pictures of Team 1’s first room)
* T1 2nd Room (2 pictures of Team 1’s second room)
* T1 3rd Room (2 pictures of Team 1’s third room)
* T1 House (outside picture of Team 1’s house)
* T1 Outside Work Space
* Follow these directions for T2

- The neighboring teams must be under a 5 minute walk from each other.
- In order to be considered to get on the program you must have 3 rooms available for scouting for possible redecoration.
- There must be ample space for production purposes; the rooms must be at least 12’ X 12’ and at least 8’ in height and no more than 12’ in height.
There must be paved space for our 25’ X 50’ carpentry area.

ADDITIONAL RULES AND INFORMATION Trading Spaces supplies the budget.
The show is taped over the course of four days, which may or may not be over the course of a weekend.
You will be contacted if you have been selected to move on to the next stage in the screening process. We will be making phone calls to set up appointments for phone interviews with each participating team. Unfortunately, we cannot correspond with everyone. There are too many of you! If you do not receive a call, you have not been selected.

The selection will then be narrowed down even further after the phone interviews and homeowner teams still in the running may be scheduled for a visit from our location scouts.
